Harvested on the steep sides of the Galeras Volcano, on verdant slopes that are sometimes covered with a thin layer of volcanic ash, a precious phenomenon that promotes the health of coffee trees.These farms are located at high altitudes near the equator with long hours of daytime sunshine and cool nights. The coffee trees grow more slowly here, but once the cherries ripen, they offer a particularly complex and sweet cup.
