Features and Performance

Based on the Anima series espresso machines, the Magenta Plus inherits the same slim design with less than 10" width, tall spouts with 6" of clearance, and the same updated brew group to dose 6.5 to 11.5g of freshly ground coffee for each drink. Improvements start with the Magenta's color display, which offers clean, icon-based navigation for all beverage options and audio feedback to confirm your selections. The one-touch drink menu will satisfy any coffee drinker with espresso (x2), espresso longo (x2), coffee (x2) and a real Americano available at the touch of a button. You can also dispense hot water for tea or cocoa and especially steam to froth milk.

Each drink can be customized according to the desired temperature, brew strength and volume. You can also choose to prepare pre-ground coffee using the bypass doser, or prepare two drinks consecutively by selecting the espresso, long espresso or coffee options. The hot water function can be adjusted to the desired volume while the steam function will dispense steam for as long as you wish. The true commercial steam wand with a 1-hole nozzle takes a little practice, but produces the best milk froth of any super-automatic machine on the market.

Improving far more than brewing performance, the aesthetics of the machine have been updated in the same way as the Cadorna series. In addition to the color display, attention has been paid to the spout assembly and drip tray, adding striking red accents, a secure magnetic lid, and the subtle but ingenious stainless steel cup platform that can be attached to the front of the machine to prevent splashing when brewing in smaller cups.
