Features and performance

Based on the Anima series espresso machines, the Magenta Plus inherits the same slim design at less than 10" wide, tall spouts with 6" of clearance, and the same brewing group updated to dose 6.5 11.5 g of freshly ground coffee for each drink. The improvements start with the Magenta's color display which features crisp icon-based navigation for all beverage options and audio feedback to confirm your selections. The one-touch drinks menu will satisfy any coffee drinker with espresso (x2), espresso longo (x2), coffee (x2) and real americano available at the touch of a button. You can also dispense hot water for tea or cocoa and especially steam to froth the milk.

Each drink can be customized based on your desired temperature, brew strength and volume. You can also choose to prepare pre-ground coffee using the bypass doser, or prepare two drinks consecutively by selecting the espresso, espresso longo or coffee options. The hot water function can be adjusted to the desired volume while the steam function will dispense steam for as long as you want. The true commercial steam wand with a 1-hole tip takes a little practice, but produces the best milk froth of any super-automatic machine on the market.
