De'Longhi PrimaDonna Aromatic: Automatic Espresso Machine, Bean Adapt, Cold Brew, Hot and Cold Milk Froth, 38 Drinks

Hot, iced or cold brew coffee from one machine

The De'Longhi PrimaDonna Aromatic is a high-end fully automatic espresso machine, designed and made in Italy. It is built for households that switch between espresso, milk drinks, iced coffee and cold brew.

What sets it apart

Bean Adapt Technology tunes the machine to your beans. You enter the variety (100% Arabica or a blend) and the roast level: the machine then adjusts the grind, temperature and strength. Up to 6 bean profiles can be saved.

Two carafes are included: LatteCrema Hot for hot froth, LatteCrema Cool for cold froth on iced drinks. Both work with cow's milk and with soy, oat and almond beverages.

Cold Extraction Technology makes cold brew in a few minutes.

Day to day

Choose your profile, then a hot or cold drink: the machine grinds, doses, brews and adds the milk. After every milk drink, a steam and water cycle cleans the carafe. The brew group is removable, and the display guides you through descaling and water filter changes.

Who it's for

• Households that drink as many hot coffees as iced or cold brew drinks.
• Coffee lovers who change beans often and want each one dialed in.
• Families: four profiles and menus that follow the time of day.

Less suited for

• Hot drinks only: see the De'Longhi Magnifica Plus.
• Keeping two whole-bean coffees ready at all times: the De'Longhi Rivelia has two interchangeable hoppers, the JURA J10 Twin two grinders.
• Manual control over extraction: see a portafilter machine such as the De'Longhi La Specialista Maestro Evo.
• Shallow counters: plan for 48.5 cm of depth.
