Description
Description
A 2 group commercial machine designed around the barista
The Gaggia Milano La Giusta is a traditional 2 group espresso machine in a tall cup version, built for cafés and restaurants. It combines volumetric programming, a color touchscreen and two insulated steam wands.
What sets it apart
Ergonomics drive the whole design. The inclined interface makes selections easier to read, the angled portafilters are easier to handle, and the steam knob delivers full steam with a 0 to 90° turn.
Both Cool Touch steam wands stay cooler to the touch, reducing the risk of burns during service. La Giusta's quality is certified by the Istituto Espresso Italiano.
Key specifications
- 2 groups in a tall cup format: room under the spouts for tall cups and glasses.
- 14 L steam boiler, 3,500 W, with PID control (an electronic controller that keeps temperature stable): a solid steam reserve for milk drinks during rush hours.
- Volumetric programming: 5 backlit direct selection buttons per group, for a consistent cup from one barista to the next.
- Programmable "Purge" button to flush the group between extractions.
- Color touchscreen to set every parameter, including energy-saving mode (automatic on/off and standby).
- Counters: coffee and hot water served, litres of water used and a filter replacement alert.
- Hot water economizer, electric cup warmer and LED-lit work area.
- USB port for software updates and a custom on-screen logo.
- Height-adjustable feet.
- Power: 220 V single phase, 60 Hz, NEMA 6-30P plug. Maximum power: 4,000 W.
- Dimensions: W 76 x D 63.5 x H 54.5 cm. Weight: 78 kg.
Day to day
Each barista finds their recipes on the 5 buttons of their group, and the screen centralizes all settings. The counters help plan maintenance and water filter changes. Outside business hours, energy-saving mode puts the machine on standby or switches it off automatically.
Who it's for / Who it's not for
- Ideal for: cafés, restaurants and hotels that serve many milk drinks, with two baristas working at the same time.
- Ideal for: businesses that want a consistent cup through programmed doses, even with a changing team.
- Less suited for: very high-volume businesses that need a third group (see the Gaggia Vetro 3 groups).
- Less suited for: self-service or teams without barista training (see the Gaggia Concetto Evo Duo, fully automatic).
Positioning
In the Gaggia Milano commercial range at L'Heureux, La Giusta sits between the Vetro and La Reale DFC. It brings together a color touchscreen, PID control and Cool Touch steam wands in a 2 group tall cup format.
Pairs well with
Gaggia Milano recommends pairing it with the Gaggia G10 grinder. To protect the boiler, plan for a water filtration system suited to your water hardness.
