BACKFLUSH PROCEDURE FOR EACH DELIVERY GROUP
- Remove the coffee filter from the group handle and replace it with a blind filter.
- For daily cleaning, add 1 level scoop of Espresso Clean® to the group handle and insert it as if you were making espresso. If the machine is cleaned less often, use 2 level shovels.
- Start the cycle and let it run for 10 seconds to dissolve the cleaner.
- Stop the cycle and let sit for 10 seconds.
- Start and stop the cycle 4 more times – run for 10 seconds, stop for 10 seconds.
- Remove the handle from the group and rinse it well under running water from the delivery group. Turn off.
- Reinsert handle with blind filter, start and stop cycle 10 times - run for 5 seconds, stop for 2 seconds to ensure thorough rinsing.
- Remove the blind filter and insert the regular filter.
- Brew and discard a single espresso to re-season the machine.
PROCEDURE FOR CLEANING GROUP FILTERS AND HANDLES
- Soak the group handles and filters in 500ml of hot water with 2 level tablespoons of Espresso Clean® espresso machine cleaner for 10 minutes.
- Rinse thoroughly with warm running water.
