Everything you need comes in the box, except alcohol to fuel the included burner. Although the included burner will work, it will be much more difficult and frustrating to get the most out of this brewing method (it's the same with every siphon you can buy).

The siphon consists of a metal stand that holds a glass bulb, a glass chamber with a tube on the bottom that fits into the bulb, and a filter. There are many ways to use this lovely Japanese creation, but whichever way you choose, the process works the same.
