Biocaf Coffee Equipment Cleaning Powder is your new coffee cleaning friend for your coffee equipment, equipment and bar. Biocaf removes coffee residue and oils from espresso machine group heads, valves and lines, while keeping shower screens and portafilter baskets tidy for even extractions. Biocaf not only cleans espresso machines, it will also remove coffee stains from brewer filter baskets and glass and insulated servers. It can also be used to prepare a soaking solution to clean other equipment such as portafilters, stained glass windows and other coffee parts and accessories. Biocafe Coffee Equipment Cleaning Powder is made from natural, biodegradable ingredients, contains no phosphates and is odorless.

• Each container will give you over 100 uses of traditional espresso machines, soaking coffee and espresso machine parts, and cleaning coffee makers.

For use on commercial espresso machines

Back Flush (each group head)

1. Insert the blind filter and add up to 1/2 teaspoon (3 g) of Biocaf Coffee Equipment Cleaning Powder. Insert the filter holder into the group head.
2. Activate the brew cycle for 10 seconds. Stop for 10 seconds. Repeat 5 times.
3. Remove the filter holder. Activate the brew cycle and rinse the portafilter in the group head water stream. Shutdown cycle.
4. Insert the blind filter. Insert the filter holder into the group head. Repeat step (2) without Biocaf to rinse.
5. Brew and pour espresso.

Soak: Soak the filters and the metal part of the filter holder (do not submerge the plastic handle) for 30 minutes in 1 teaspoon (6 g) of Biocaf powder per 32 oz. (1 L) of hot water. Rinse with potable water.

For use on coffee makers

1. Empty the coffee from the equipment and sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon (3 g) of Biocaf Coffee Equipment Cleaning Powder per 64 oz. (2 L) of brew capacity directly into the brew basket.
2. Run a full brew cycle in each container. Hold for 30 minutes.
3. Rinse with clean warm water.

Tip: Dampen a cloth with Biocaf Coffee Equipment Cleaning Powder solution and wipe the spray heads, then wipe with water. Caution: Spray heads can be very hot!
