The Ascaso Dream PID combines an iconic retro silhouette, designed in Barcelona, with components usually reserved for larger machines. It is aimed at the enthusiast who wants a home espresso worthy of a neighborhood cafe, without sacrificing style.
What sets it apart
Its PID controller separately controls the coffee temperature (from 80 °C to 110 °C, in 1 °C increments) and the steam temperature (from 110 °C to 165 °C), for thermal stability of ±1.5 °C. The adjustable pre-infusion and externally adjustable overpressure valve (OPV) allow fine-tuning of extraction according to the grind and coffee used, a level of control rarely offered in this compact format.
