Description

A slow, gentle cold brew

Mizudashi means "water soup" in Japanese, a name that reflects its slow, refrigerator-based brewing method. This process yields a smoother, sweeter drink, with fewer bitter tannins than a hot-brewed infusion.

What sets it apart

A removable polyester mesh strainer separates the tea leaves (or coarsely ground coffee) from the infusion once steeping is done. Simply lift out the strainer and you're left with a carafe ready to pour, with no grounds or residue.

Day to day

Set up the brew in the morning with loose leaf tea or coarsely ground coffee, then let it steep in the refrigerator for several hours. The compact size stores easily in the fridge door between servings.
