The KB90 is the latest evolution in the PB line's shape. It is specifically designed to increase service speed in higher-volume cafes, while making life easier for the barista thanks to an improved workflow. Marzocco has redesigned the portafilter system with the aim of improving workflow efficiency and reducing user wrist fatigue. Efficiency can also be improved thanks to the Steam Flush group head: after each extraction, a burst of steam from the group head is followed by a hot water rinse, to keep the machine clean even during the worst of peak hours. This innovative feature reduces the unpleasant aromatic notes that emerge from an unrinsed group. The KB90 allows a new level of expression in machine design. The panels have been designed with the virtual creation of an infinite combination of customizations in mind.

It was designed to simplify the movements required to insert the portafilter and reduce barista fatigue by 12 times for even greater performance and ease of daily use. High-volume coffee environments require a barista to work quickly and efficiently to produce drinks during the busiest times of the day. Easy to maneuver, the Straight-in Portafilter System can significantly reduce repetitive motion injuries, improving the natural workflow and barista production.
