For the enthusiast who wants to master their extraction
The LELIT MaraX3 is a prosumer heat exchanger espresso machine, designed for the home barista who wants to control the extraction profile without investing in a dual boiler machine. Its Pagaia lever transforms every cup into an active endeavor.
What sets it apart
The Pagaia system, patented by LELIT, is an electronic flow control system operated by an ergonomic lever. You modulate the flow in real time during extraction — gentle pre-infusion, progressive pressure build-up, slowed-down finish — to adapt each coffee to your grind and roast.
The L58E brew group, proprietary to LELIT, accepts 58 mm accessories and offers remarkable thermal stability thanks to the Dual Probe system: two probes read the temperature in parallel for a more precise adjustment than a single-probe PID.
Key Specifications
- AISI316L stainless steel heat exchanger — 1.8 L boiler for abundant and sustained steam.
- L58E brew group, 58 mm size — mechanical pre-infusion, compatible with 58 mm portafilters and baskets.
- Patented Dual Probe PID system with thermosiphon circulation — stable temperature within a degree from one extraction to the next.
- Pagaia flow control with ergonomic lever — adjustable extraction from pre-infusion to the end of the pour.
- 2.5 L reservoir, silent pump, automatic standby mode.
- Xmode coffee / Xmode steam selector — three temperature settings (hot, very hot, boiling).
- Dimensions: 255 W × 535 D × 385 H mm. Weight: 18.3 kg.
Daily Use
The heat exchanger allows you to pull an espresso and texture milk in the same sequence, without waiting for a temperature change. The multi-directional anti-burn steam wand with three holes provides dense and homogeneous milk foam, sufficient for two consecutive cappuccinos.
The details are carefully crafted: backlit stainless steel switch, double pump/steam pressure gauge, grilled cup warmer tray, Zebrano wood finishes on the Pagaia lever, knobs, and tamper.
For Whom
- The home barista who wants to explore extraction profiling without upgrading to a dual boiler machine.
- The demanding enthusiast who prepares 2 to 6 drinks per day, mainly espressos and milk-based drinks.
- Someone who appreciates refined design and noble materials in their kitchen.
